In a Church in which Pope Francis is opening his ideology to new ways of thinking: Separate spouses, LGTB, religions until not long ago, enemies, we find the unfortunate case that Caritas Salamanca, a diocesan branch of The Catholic Church, has rejected a donation for belonging to a sector that is in contraversia with the society. The Taurine Youth of Salamanca made a donation for the poor and needy few days ago, through the sale of pens in its Second Solidarity Campaign.
That is to say, a religious organization that should not make distinction, nor discrimination to anybody, and less of a totally legal sector and with tradition of solidarity, and more with donations for the poor and with serious economic problems.
Of course, these decisions, if they are not rectified, lead to a greater discredit, if possible, to a religion that should base its organization on non-discrimination and love.
It is clear that our traditions (bulls, Iberian pig) are being attacked by all flanks. Also the meat sector of the pig, and behind them there are great powers. Is the Church now?
We hope to rectify, because they like it or not, the bullfighting sector is always in solidarity, and also forms part of an important percentage of GDP (Gross Domestic Product) in Spain. The second after the football and ahead of the cinema.
