THE TRIBUTE BEGINS FOR THE CENTENARY OF JOSELITO EL GALLO

This year 2020 marks the centenary of the tragic death of José Gómez Ortega, Joselito "El Gallo", "Gallito III". It happened on May 16, 1920 in the bullring of Talavera de la Reina (Toledo). In this podcast we will be adding the acts that are published and that may be of interest to you. He is not any bullfighter, he was and is known as "The King of Bullfighters"

During the five Saturdays of the month of February, the Antonio Bienvenida Hall of the Las Ventas bullring, thanks to the collaboration of the Center for Bullfighting Affairs of the Community of Madrid, becomes fully "Gallista" through the closed conference program for the emblematic bullfighting club "Los de José y Juan".

"Joselito" brought bullfighting classicism to its fullest expression, in addition to becoming a notable character in Spanish society in the early twentieth century.

All the colloquiums will be held in the Antonio Bienvenida de Las Ventas Room at twelve noon and admission is free and free until full capacity is reached.
